I am going to be under the assumption that you were born, raised and/or currently live in the great cold state of Minnesota. So, with that said, what is your Minnesota connection?

Mine, I was born and raised in Willmar, MN and now live in Brooklyn Park...suburb of Minneapolis.

I exist in the dire conditions of the political providence democratically declared as New Hope. Don't let the name fool you. We're desperate. For instance, just last night I counted four people at various times running down the street screaming "I CAN'T TAAKE IT ANYMORE!" Sad really.

Now that's funny!! You probably live about 15 minutes from me. Maybe you should petition a name change to No Hope!! :)

I was thinking about it, but then I figured all those fishys who one day dream of escaping the confining structures of their four-glassed cells would resort to heavy drinking. I just couldn't do that to the poor fishys. Let them keep their illusioned existence I say.

Take care. :)

Did someone say heavy drinking? That would be the Iron Range! When the opposing fans threw drinks at the T-wolves, Kevin McHale said the Minnesota fans would never waste good beer like that. Kevin, Bob Dylan, Jeno Paulucci and Vincent Bugliosi are from Hibbing. I'm from Chisholm. Three generations of mine workers until my dad got us out of there. From taconite to titanium.

String, get a map! Crookston is way over on the western side of MN. Iron Range is on the Duluth side of the state. You southerners just think "up that way" means north. I love youse guys. Pretty soon I'm gonna break out the Ole/Sven Eino/Toivo jokebook. Funny thing is, I recently saw a blonde joke that very closely resembled an Eino/Toivo joke I'd known for 30 years. Now I get it -- Finlanders are blonde! Jorma KAUkonen rocks.

I used to live in New Hope. Near the City Center Mall, over by the Unique Thrift Store (Wich I hear they are planning to tear down. Boo!). I liked it for a while but ended up moving to St. Paul to be closer to my job.
